We catch up with Bobby Mehta about our new partnership

Enroly has been going from strength to strength in the first half of 2023, signing a new UK university partner every three weeks, and bringing game-changing offer to arrival transformation to a diverse and ever-growing list of institutions.

So we thought it would be a great time to catch up with one of our new partners and find out why they’ve decided to start working with us.

I sat down with Bobby Mehta, Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement) at the University of Portsmouth, our latest partner, to discuss his thoughts on Enroly and hopes for what the future holds. 

SW: Bobby, can you share with us why your university decided to team up with Enroly?

BM: Absolutely! We were really drawn to Enroly because it's not your run-of-the-mill CRM or a generic student management system. It's been created by industry experts, for industry experts.The outcome is a product tailor-made for what we need, and I’m really excited to launch the system and start to see the benefits for our staff and students.

SW: That makes sense. Could you dive a little deeper into why you think the Enroly platform is so important for your institution and the whole sector?

BM: As UK universities are experiencing high growth and increasing complexity in this evolving market, Enroly has proven within the sector to be a crucial tool. It helps institutions cut down the time staff spend on repetitive administrative tasks for compliance. It allows them to engage more with students and agents and focus on strategic initiatives or simply getting their heads above water.

SW: What sort of impact are you expecting Enroly to have on your university?

BM: Well, we're really hoping that Enroly will help us remain focused on key goals such as sustainable growth, student experience and diversity. We want to expand and diversify our student body, but without sacrificing our operational integrity or getting lost in compliance paperwork. Enroly streamlines the process for our international students and staff, setting us up for future growth and opportunities.

SW: You've spoken highly of Enroly. Why do you believe it's the market leader in this space?

SW: Bobby, how do you think Enroly will impact your amazing staff at Portsmouth?

BM: Our staff at Portsmouth are an incredibly talented bunch, but let's face it, international recruitment and admissions can be a rollercoaster of stress and overwhelming administrative tasks. It's not just about efficiency; it can take a toll on people’s mental health too. With Enroly taking the administrative burden off the team’s shoulders, we can give people back some time to focus on the more human and creative elements of their roles. This, in turn, will have a positive ripple effect on our students and agents. I’m hoping that Enroly won’t just transform our processes; but also  improve the well-being and job satisfaction of our fantastic people.
