Built by the industry, for the industry: Welcoming Holly & Nicky to Enroly

At Enroly, we believe the best technology isn’t built in isolation, it’s shaped by the people who’ve lived the challenges first-hand. That’s why our team includes colleagues from across the higher education sector, bringing their deep knowledge of international recruitment and admissions into everything we do.

Over the past few months, we’ve welcomed two new colleagues into our Customer Success team: Holly Ellis and Nicky De Carvalho . Both join us as Customer Success Coordinators, working closely with our valued university partners to ensure they get the very best out of Enroly’s platforms.

From recruitment teams to Enroly

For Nicky, joining Enroly marks the next chapter in a career built in international recruitment at Buckinghamshire New University. After returning from maternity leave, she wanted her next role to feel meaningful, and she didn’t have to look far for inspiration.

“CAS Shield became the heartbeat of our recruitment work,” she explains. “It brought everything into one place so we could see exactly where each student was in the process. We were able to spot issues early, work as a team to solve them, and keep students moving forward towards arrival.”

That experience convinced her that Enroly was the right next step: a chance to bring those benefits to the wider sector.

Holly had a similar realisation while working in international admissions at the University of Chester. She saw first-hand the difference CAS Shield made, having worked with her team both before and after implementation.

“Honestly, it was a complete game-changer,” she recalls. “No more juggling spreadsheets or endless emails chasing missing documents, it gave us real clarity over the whole CAS process and made things smoother for both the team and our students.”

That shift stuck with her, and ultimately inspired her move to Enroly. “It made me realise just how much of a difference smart tech can make in this space, and it made me want to help other universities have that same experience.”
