Introducing the Enroly Advisory Board: Chapter One Begins

Introducing the Enroly Advisory Board: Chapter One Begins

Last week, we hosted the very first meeting of the Enroly Advisory Board, and what a way to begin.

Held at Television Centre in London, the room was filled with deep sector experience, sharp insight, and a genuine willingness to collaborate. It was exactly what we had hoped for when we set out to bring this group together.

From Deputy Vice-Chancellors to Directors of Recruitment, Marketing, Admissions and International, the Board represents a significant cross-section of expertise across UK higher education.

But more than titles or institutions, what stood out was the shared determination in the room:
A recognition that the challenges facing higher education, particularly across international recruitment, admissions and compliance, are complex, fast-moving, and not solved in isolation.

Building the space

This first session was deliberately about listening and trust.

The agenda was ambitious, the conversation fluid and wide-ranging. Perspectives differed, as they should, but the dialogue was honest, thoughtful and constructive.

We talked about:

  • The pressures facing international recruitment and market volatility
  • The operational realities of admissions and compliance teams
  • Technology’s role, and it’s limits in solving sector challenges
  • Where collaboration across institutions and providers matters most

Chapter one was about creating the space.

Now comes the important part: shaping what comes next, together.

We’re incredibly grateful to every member who made the time to join us and help set the tone for what this Board will become.
